When she returned to Victoria she completed some online schooling while she was figuring out what she wanted to do as a career. Eventually she decided to put her love of animals to use and started working at Vic West Pet Hospital.
Now she gets to spend her days surrounded by by all that cats and dogs that come into the clinic, and giving them as many pets as they want. In her free time she likes to be with her own dog, Loli, either at home cuddling or outside hiking, camping, or walking along the beach.

Raised in Alberta on a llama farm, Alannah has since taken her love for animals around Southeast Asia and is back in Canada now to learn the tricks of the trade in veterinary technology.
Alannah hopes to take her diploma around the world to help as many different animals as possible. Until then, she will be in Victoria assisting all of our lovely clients and completing her diploma
Ashleigh Ward
After growing up in an animal-loving household on the Mainland, Ashleigh moved to Victoria with her husband in 2012 and has plans to never leave this wonderful place!
After obtaining degrees and diplomas in Social Sciences and Business Administration, Ashleigh moved into the world of animals. After her son was born in 2014, Ashleigh took some time off to care for him before returning to the workforce and finding a home helping Breanna manage the clinic.
When she isn't working, Ashleigh enjoys spending her time outside gardening, camping, hiking or riding her bike, all with her family (both the two - and four-legged members).
